This is my first quilting project. I have to say that this quilt isn't going to be that expensive to put together. I used two Christmas fabrics that I purchased last year after Christmas for a dollar a yard. This picture was taken after I had sewn together the rows. Now the untire quilt top is almost finished, I have to just add a border around the outside of it. I suspect that I will be making a quilt sandwich this week, and after that I will have to put a binding around the outside edge. I hope to have this quilt done before Christmas Day. It is a present, I will not say whom is going to receive it.
